Corten flower pots in the city center, Liptovský Hrádok SK

The city center of Liptovsky Hrádok has been reconstructed and renovated lately. 74 corten flowerpots of atypic dimensions were planted on both sides of the busy street. Flowerpots made of COR-TEN® weathering steel beautify the city center on SNP Street. Thanks to the corten flowerpots the city center will turn green. They will also make a safety barrier and prevent pedestrians cross the street – there is no crosswalk.

Representatives of the city opted for Corten flowerpots mainly due to their modern appearance, maintenance-free, and long service life. Corten flower pots are insulated with a self-watering system and a level meter. They are planted with up to 17 species of plants that grow nicely in the spring.
